A chemical peel is a treatment used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin using a chemical solution. This enables the dead skin to eventually peel off and the new regenerated skin will feel smoother and fresher looking.
LA Peel Treatment
- An LA Peel smoothes and rejuvenates sun-damaged skin. It is indicated for patients with mild to severe acne, melasma, moderate wrinkling, and actinic damage. Multiple areas can be treated at the same time.
- Treatment areas can include the face, neck, hands, and upper chest and can be used for all skin types. Ethnic and darker skin types should exercise caution and offer the patient a series of light peels.
- Adding successive layers to the skin controls the depth or level of the peel.
